Freddie Levin - Children's Illustrator
Freddie Levin grew up in Chicago and took classes in drawing and puppetry at the Art Institute of Chicago. As a young girl, Freddie also studied classical ballet and continues her studies to the present. With a BFA and an MFA in Art from the University of Illinois, Freddie has divided her time between teaching art and making art for over 25 years. Freddie is the author/illustrator of an award winning series of drawing guides called 123 Draw. (see www.123draw.com) Over one million copies have been sold world-wide. She has also illustrated picture books, emergent readers and game boards. Freddie lives in Chicago with her teenage son, two noisy colorful birds and a fish named Seabiscuit.
